Hello, My name is Shithin Ann Zachariah. I am from South India, Kerala. I was born and raised in the Pearl of the Gulf, Bahrain. I am the youngest of a family of 6. I moved to Canada in August 2023.
I did my Bachelor in Business Administration in Bangalore, India. Where I also did a diploma in Montessori, ages 3 to 5. Currently, I am pursuing my Diploma in Early Childhood Education, through Thompson Rivers University.
From when I was a child, I always loved to teach. Whether it was dolls, or my younger cousins forced to sit through me teaching them. The moment I graduated with my Bachelor, I realized who I wanted to be and that was not a person working a cooperate job, but as a teacher. Not just a teacher, I knew that I wanted to work with younger children. I always found the most joy in being surrounded by young ones. Who are full of wonder and excitement, who are curious as can be, and sometimes, too honest, whether I am ready for it or not!
Who am I as a person?
I am someone who almost drove off the road trying to save a pack of dogs. I love animals and plants. My garden back home is flourishing and I miss my plants so much! Besides that, I am still learning who I truly am.
